I started my career at OK! Magazine, then moved to Dubai to launch OK! Middle East. When Emirates Today newspaper launched, I joined the team to edit the six pages of daily entertainment news. This included a daily double-page entertainment column, interviews with celebrities such as Morgan Freeman and Missy Elliott, as well red-carpet reports on major events such as the MTV Music Awards and Dubai Film Festival. You can see a snapshot of my work as a celebrity reporter here.
From there, I headed to Hong Kong and became Managing Editor at HK Magazine. Later, I joined Hong Kong Tatler as Editor of the annual Asia Tatler Best Restaurant Guide, where I launched the accompanying website.
At Tatler I spotted a gap: brands needed bilingual, high-quality content that didn’t feel like advertising. So I founded Kleio, a content marketing agency specialising in vibrant cross-platform work for travel, design, food and drink clients. We launched websites and magazines for Shangri-La Hotels, Swire Hotels, Nespresso and Smirnoff. You can see a snapshot of my work here.
I'm passionate about travel and having lived in France, Hong Kong, Dubai and Switzerland and have a global network of contacts in the travel, food and drink and design sectors. Here is a snapshot of my travel features for various magazines. You can also see my travel writing on the lifestyle website I created for Shangri-La Hotels here.
These days I work as an editor and content lead for publishers and brands. I still write, and I still care whether a piece stands up. Through Stanza I take on programmes and retainers; I am also looking at Head of Content and senior editorial roles in Hong Kong. If that is a conversation you want to have, drop me a
line here.
